Gotta...

give you some serious credit on this one. This piano melody is so original and moving...everything about it is appealing and yet altogether unexpected and unpredictable. Please do us all a favor and finish this...I'd even beg to collab on this one. We should get together make something good happen. If you're interested, my email is emmalloy@mac.com, AIM: eros99.

EN3RGIE responds:

Hey man, glad you like that piano melody, it was originaly made on my piano when i was feeling a little down as you can probably tell by the way it sounds. Thers one problem about finishing this song though...and that is i cant....because the file has vanished....this isnt the first time this happens to me but for some strange resson some of my music files have been vanishing and i dont know why or how...however i might attempt to remake this song and mite have a full version done. Ill add you right away and if you are interested in collabing i would have np with thta :). TTYL!

thanks for your review!

bye!

I smell...

::sniff sniff:: REPLACEMENT. If this doesn't replace idioteque during the car ride, I quit. What was that?! Aliens stole all the DV tapes, swallowed the camera and fixed Tim with an anal probe? What the fahhhhhh?

Oh well, this beat is disturbingly disgusting anyway. I'm going to go chew on my finger and ingest as much blood as possible.

AdmiralConquistador responds:

Haha! I dunno, I showed the first 15 seconds of this to Tim and he freaked out, he loved it... replace idioteque?!? What are GREAT IDEA!!! You know I used part of the monster yell in the beginning, and vocoded it through a 303glitch wave in Reason to make that delaying bouncey spacey effect that leads into the bassline, hehe. So that means it automatically gets used in the movie :) Tim has always had an anal probe, Evan, you put it there douchebag. Thanks for the score and review! You need to come over more often! We will play with reason!

I am...

grooving hardcore to this track. Well done my man, well done.

What is that dude saying though? Then again, does it even matter? Great song!

LL

Cpt-Nemo responds:

In all honesty it doesn't matter what he is saying...in fact I would rather not say since it began as a school assignment on awry, so I left the "vocals" even though they are saying something quite retarded and not the least bit funny. I'm glad you enjoy it...many of my friends seem to like it too. Oh, and thanks for the review.

[Okay, its been a long time since this review, so I'm ready to come clean and laugh at myself. The vocals are saying "All of my homies out in L.A. know I'm so fly." Now I'm going to go hide my head until all the laughing and finger pointing at me for such stupid lyrics subsides.]

Godly!

Yet another beautiful arrangement. I must say again, I love the diversity of your work. This piece is so full of power and energy! I can't find anything about it that I don't like. I might like to hear more vocals, although it is obviously not necessary. 6/5!

Who is the lucky director whose film will be graced with this series?

If you get a chance, I would be extremely grateful for a review on a similar piece I wrote for a death turned chase scene called "Eternal Passage"

Thanks again!

fleets make me itch

I'm pretty sure DJ-Immune covered everything and then wrote a book. So I'm just gonna play with your nuts and make you chuckle bits of Ross all over that dude with the white face. Unfortunately, I only have 4min38sec.

Better get to work.

AdmiralConquistador responds:

Just chew your hand and start imbibing as much blood as possible. And nice reference to the extremist. In case you didn't know Newgrounds, The extremist is a movie. That you will never see. Unless we become famous one day, and a cult following demands to watch our early works, then you might get it on DVD-HD or BLU-RAY, whatever is the old stuff when this all happens.

yummm

Dig on this poop. When I turn this song up really loud and lift my feet of the ground my freaking chair starts to turn counterclockwise as if controlled by some invisible force of awesomeness. That can only mean one thing........32nd notes!!!!! Heck yes B, way to spin me right round.

AdmiralConquistador responds:

32nd notes have the power!!!!!

I never give tens

This is a GREAT recording! I love jazz and I love good beats. What you've done here is made a good beat with jazz. I love how the drum set is not perfectly quantized. It gives the song a sense of humility. It's so chill. Haha! I love it! It is so simple and chill. well done!

What sucks is that you'll probably never see this review since you submitted it about a year and a half ago. Oh well. 5/5 anyway.

CalebSkwerl responds:

and a year after you comment on it, i happen to stumble back upon my account here.. amazing timing we have, 'eh? lol

thanks so much for the praise, i had no idea that this track would be such a hit on newgrounds. i didn't expect to see it on 1 submission, let alone 6! :D

Keep at it

This is decent for your first time. My advice would be to experiment more with each layer (each pattern/sound/loop/phrase however you want to call it). Bring them in and out separately and let the song speak.

Overall, I would say that everything works very well together, but the song doesn't have the feel of a real song simply because you aren't layering or phrasing.

I definitely see potential here. Listen to some BOUNC3 or API or even go online and download some professional stuff and break it down. See what you come up with.

Peace

jazzifiedfizzle responds:

thanks, i tried layering on some of the instruments, but ill work on that some more in my next song
